Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - WBEN has learned that a possible suspect was picked up for questioning in the Bike Path Rapist investigation this morning. Sources tell WBEN that the suspect, Altimio Sanchez, is under arrest. Police sources say Sanchez' DNA is a match to the three murders and nine sexual assaults along bike paths and other isolated areas since the 1980's. He is said to be a 48-year old Cheektowaga resident.
Is he a legal citizen is what I'd like to know?

Incredibly fast job of getting the DNA checked.
Lives on Allendale in Cheektowaga. They've been watching him for a while, but finally got the DNA from a Wmsville restaurant where he ate on Sat. They say the DNA is a solid match.
I feel sorry for his wife and kids. But thank you, God, they got him.

the DNA samples were swiped at a restaurant where he ate...a former waitress at that restaurant portrayed Linda Yalem (first victim?) years ago on AMW.

They said that the police had gone to his home some time ago to talk to him about a gun incident, but they didn't have his DNA report at that time. When they got it from the restaurant they pulled him over at a traffic sign, and told him they were taking him in to have another discussion about the gun.

If you need to ask "why" I ask then the explanation would be lost on both of you.
But he's not a Racist .....
My plan was to then argue that, even if his figures are true (and they are not), then his confidence-level in "predicting" the immigration status of a reported murderer with a Hispanic surname is still well below a level at which he should be comfortable. He didn't stick around the thread, however. Small surprise.
