"Several months" before final autopsy results? Why?

Water didn't kill this woman. Stupidity killed her.
Lets review:
28 years old, multiple kids, yet lacking funds to buy a Wii.
No thought of saving for it, no, lets just drink a lot of water and not urinate until her electrolytes are diluted enough to stop her heart.
She didn't even leave her children a heroic story. For the rest of their lives they get to tell this wonderful tale and relive how stupid their mother was.

In 'several months' the radio station will have opted for a settlement. That is why.

Strange had reportedly competed in a contest held by local radio station 107.9 The End How ironic that the station calls itself "The End"

Now I want to force myself to go urinate...

I wonder what the kids will do with their new radio station?

Dr Michael Baden of gretatube and OJ fame said she probably rinsed the sodium from her body and then died of cerebral edema.
(Kind of like deaths from heat shock when ya don't take your salt tablets in certain climates and occupations)

I am sorry she did this and so terribly sorry she died.
So sad for her family.
I can see how people without a lot of education or medical knowledge would not consider water consumption as dangerous.
Tragic.

Prayers for her poor kids. I can see how the average person may not know about the danger of drinking too much water too fast, but I'm surprised the radio station management signed off on this.

For the rest of their lives they get to tell this wonderful tale and relive how stupid their mother was.
Of course she had plenty of company: the radio station management and employees, her fellow contestants, people who heard about the contest, before and during, and probably the majority of mankind.
To: kenth
but I'm surprised the radio station management signed off on this. Looks like the mangagement might be looking for new jobs pretty soon. How would you like this incident on your resume?
To: Pukin Dog
I hope when you die it is from something intelligent, and that that is a consolation to you.
