Wow. Water intoxication. I wouldn't have imagined such a thing was possible.

Hopefully I got this into Chat.Actually, you accidentally posted it into Pelosi's website. The House Mother sees everything. She knows everything. And now she is coming after you! If she asks, I don't know who your are, and I wasn't there.

The dangers of dihydrogen monoxide ... when will they ban it and save the children?

WoW! Who knew? I had never heard that too much water could kill you. Poor thing. That had to be a horrible way to die.

I have heard of fatal water drinking incidents like this in the past. Sounds like a helluva tort case.

This radio station should be charged with manslaughter. The body must maintain a proper balance of salts and water. It's called homeostasis; it's why you sweat or urinate, or drink. It's unthinkable to have a contest that purposely disrupts this balnce. Idiots.

Yep. Hyponatremia - overdiluting the saline in your system. Or something like that. It occasionally happens to ecstasy users who way overcompensate for their dancing/other activity by drinking far too much water.

So sad, very sad. I can't believe that the radio station came up with this idea.
As much as we need water, the saying never rang more true "don't overdo too much of a good thing".
