Reading threads like these - where it turns out the fan in question is NOT an Eagles fan - I get the impression that most people think we (not you - me and mine) drink the blood of orphaned babies. ;)

Actually Veteran's Stadium that had the courtroom was closed several years ago. There hasn't been a need for such a thing at the new stadium.

I doubt it

I think for average American Football, NASCAR and Basketball are king in this country I doubt soccer even LA Galaxy signing David Beckam would probably won't make average American soccer fans

HEY MOJO anything possible LOL!

If you think these fans are bad, just wait until soccer becomes a national sport

I went to the USA vs Mexico World Cup qualifying match in Columbus a year ago. It was a very patriotic game - I'd go again.

The only problem occured when a Mexican Fan next to me (in the US Section) started shouting "O-SA-MA". He got shut down pretty quick - I thought I was going to have to plead for his life, but he got up from his seat and never came back...

LOL!! Even though the Saints have former Charger Brees & the kicker and San Diego native Regie Bush, would like to see Phila beat them.

If my Chargers win tomorrow, we play Colts next week.

Ain't this fun

My husband took our 8 year old son to a professional football game last year.

They both said the language was unbelievable. Fxxx was used as an adjective, verb AND noun!

I can understand an occasional inappropriate word slipping out at a crucial moment...but most of the "fans" just used foul language the entire time.

The NFL is not for families.

In this day of “enlightenment”, her parents would probably approve and even encourage her.

I know if she were my spawn, she would get her arse kicked.

Those guys are all unionized - there's no way in hell they'll lose their jobs or even get any kind of disciplinary action. The sports talk people will go crazy, John McCain and the rest of the Dims will have hysterics about it for a few days, the FCC will whack Fox with a fine, the suits will pay it and grumble, and life will go on.

I lived in CA for 18 years and had the chance to go to many 49ers and Oakland football games. For many reasons, the rowdiness and language and general mayhem at Raiders games among them, I preferred to stay at home and watch the games on TV. Plus, I didn't have to stop drinking beer after the third quarter!

If American demographics remained stable the sports you mentioned would obviously reign supreme. But as I said, those demographics are anything but stable -- we're importing millions of (third world) soccer fans annually. .....many arriving legally, but most arriving illegally.

Soccer could very well be huge here in another generation.

But no matter how huge it gets Romey will still treat it with disdain. ....as well he should ;)

Did you see Romey give grudging props to his alma mater (the Gauchos) national soccer championship a couple weeks ago? ...lol....he was pretty bummed it couldn't have been in a real sport.

"Her folks must be SO proud."

It's New Orleans, her mom probably gave it to her. As for the slogan I'm guessing she already has.
