Just like her symbolic "reforms" and her symbolic caring for those other than her effete elite. The Dems' mission is to seem rather than to be, which is why they chose Kerry in 2006: He seemed to be a war hero, but wasn't. Pelosi and Reid count on fooling all the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time. Unfortunately, even Brownback and few other Republicans have been duped.
