Camels were not even domesticated until the middle of the 3d millenium B.C. (for their milk and meat). It was not trained to carry burdens until much later, and not trained to carry riders until the inverted "v" saddle was invented in the 1st millenium B.C. There is no evidence of domesticated camels in the 6th millenium B.C.
The Burnt City flourished 5000 years ago (i.e., 3d m BC), not 5000 BC.
