UI design and physical design are two different things.

Well, I'd disagree with this.

And it's barely bigger than a person's grip. It's fine.

Despite being thin, the width and height look similar to other PDA phones that have been limited in popularity by their size. I think it will be a moderate hit as the successor to the video iPod, but a failure as a phone.

Why will it fail as a phone? Because it can fit in a pocket? Come on, I think you're lingering too much on the fact that it's slightly larger than someone's grip.

I'll make the opposite prediction - this device is almost a revolution in mobile telecommunications. Apple will sell tons of them.
