I don't know if this is true, but I read on a website (can't remember which one), that the first 4 episodes are available online.

Could I start and go thru this season, yet still watch the previous seasons?
yes you can but only if you have Jack Bauer's ability to focus and the only person I know who comes close to having that ability is Chuck Norris. I did the same thing last winter starting with Season 4 which I rented piecemeal from Hollywood Video thinking it was Season 1.
Then I bought seasons 2, 3 then 4 and when I started watching season 4 I realized I had already seen it. So, this past week I ordered the real season 1 from Amazon.
Needless to say, 24 24/7 is really going to to mess you up and really screw up your weekend homelife if you can't convince your significant other of the importance of watching 24..........

My machine can only record on DVD from a VHS or from the TV, but I have a cousin who does 8mm or slides to DVD professionally so I let him do it.

As far as plot--absolutely. Characters come, go & return. So that makes it even more interesting.

The timespan between every season has always been about 18 months to 3 years. That's interesting...

Exactly right when you realize each season is 24 HOURS of viewing. We watched it together and stayed up all hrs of the night because we'd want to see "just one more episode."
To: Dr. Scarpetta
Now do you "really" think that Larry King/alive will actually for the first time do an interesting interview?
Statement---There's no such thing as a stupid question.
Reply---You obviously have never watched a Larry King interview.
:-)

"just one more episode."
I think for me the only time I wasn't watching the DVDs was when I was working or waiting for the next series to arrive from Amazon

The first hour is a tear-jerker. Have a box of tissues close at hand. It is patriotically inspiring what Jack does for his country. I CANNOT wait!!!

Thanks, all.....just when we're heading to Yellowstone for x-country skiing for a week ...... sans TV.....AAAGGGGGHOuch!!! Maybe a friend can tape it for you. :)
It sounds like a fantastic trip, though. :)
