Just thnk how close that was to being a TD. If not for that foot on the line, that was a TD!!!!!!!
For me, this is the SB! There is no team I love more than Seattle and no team I hate more than Dallas. This erases years of resentment at the Cowboys winning in the 70's and 90's, and assuages (a little) the resentment my dad felt when, living in Houston in the late 70's, neighbors would root for the Cowboys instead of supporting their home team.
For my Hawks, I don't think they can be the Bears - they have lots of injuries they didn't have last year and barely beat Dallas. But this is more than enough. I am VERY HAPPY!
One of my FR legacies, I suppose. :-)
Almost like the "classygreeneyedblonde" of FR Football Playoffs. :-o
Thoughts of tomorrows' games:
In Foxboro, a real offensive explosion takes place:
JETS 10
PATS 13 in OT
In Philly, we only waited 17 weeks for Tiki Barber to carry the G-Men on his back. It happens again.
GIANTS 20
IGGLES 16
And Dhani Jones gets run over by Tiki at least twice to boot.
Are you happy now JennysCool? What a game!
Amen brother!
Any day the Dallas Cowboys lose is a good day.
Any day the Dallas Cowboys lose in the playoffs is a great day.
And any day the Dallas Cowboys lose to the much-maligned Seattle Seahawks is an indescribably wonderful day!
No more listening to all the a$$-kissing analysis from ESPN commentators. No more TO controversy. No more Jones, no more Parcells for another seven months!
Hopefully this will shatter any illusions that Romo is the QB of the future in Dallas, and they try to draft a young QB in the draft.
He will be in Baltimore or Cincinnati next year and the sport media will kiss his ass cause he's not a Cowboy.
I wrote after the NY Giants game that Romo and Cowboys were a year away. Dallas needs to fix both lines. Greg Ellis was hurt, and the Offensive line hasn't been the same since the Tampa game.
Romo can scramble. Parcells doesn't like when QBs scramble. He was constantly on Quincy Carter's case for not staying in the pocket.
Your 'Boyz will get another shot next year, don't despair.
Romo will be the starter next year, but if Bledsoe doesn't come back, the Cowboys are going to have to find at least a backup. They problem is that they've squandered opportunities to bring in a young QB in the past, and the good ones in this draft probably won't be around for them.
Funny, or sad if your team is out of the playoffs.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! I think you have Carrie Underwood confused with Jessica Simpson. So far, Carrie hasn't shed the Christian Blonde image that Britney, Christina, and Jessica cast aside so they could get down, dirty, irreverent, and on a magazine cover every week.
AFAIC, Carrie's a good girl until proven slutty.
The "Underwood Curse" Lives!!!
I want to see Parcells go because he's burned out. However, I am wonder how it will effect continuity.
The good news is that now Dallas can focus their attention on a real team....The Mavericks.
