Thankfully, not many people are saying Boise State deserves a shot at the national championship - their own coach admitted they had the game put away and then nearly blew it - not very indicative of national championship material.

That said, between this and Notre Dame once again sucking in a bowl game (how many years now?), if we can get enough of these controversies, maybe we can get a playoff system (Notre Dame alone is a reason for one - they shouldn't be allowed near a BCS bowl).

Thanks DFU. I didn't get to see the game. Heard about the SOL play to get the conversion. You also don't often see a reverse after a reasonably long pass on what looks like a planned play. Best highlight reel of the bowl season! Mrs. jimfree appreciated it too.
