I am ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :> :> :> :>
True story: Here in CA a lawyer actually tried to sue an OB-GYN because the mother had gas during delivery and was embarrassed and they wouldn't give her anything for it, causing her emotional distress, blah blah yada yada. The court dumped the suit, but still, the plaintiff and her lawyer were serious.
Sure, I remember that.
I thought you went. ;>
I wish I'd known I have a right to not be embarrassed or offended. I'd be out of debt. A long time ago.
Yeah, right! :-)
Yeah, lol!
It's helpful and commendable, but their statement would have been more valuable and encouraging to the boys if it had come sooner, at least when Fall semester began, not now when support for the boys is coming from every corner. But it's nicely stated and certainly welcome, most especially since it's from faculty and not just another Brodhead CYA move.
Did WRAL give the wrong location (Duke) in their first posting?

N.C. Central Student Found Dead

Durham Durham police are investigating what they are calling a suspicious death near North Carolina Central University.
Investigators received a report at about 10 a.m. Thursday about a maintenance worker who found a woman at the bottom of a stairwell at Campus Crossing Apartments.
Authorities have released few details about the investigation. They did say, however, they believe the victim was a student at NCCU.
Police also said that there were reports of gunshots earlier in the morning but have not said whether they might have been related to the death.
As an academic economist I am happy the Economist were first to do this although it is somewhat late in my view.
Thanks, Tommy.
Never was that so apparent than when he started the race baiting.
"Gweta, what about all the blacks this happens to."
Looks like. I was wondering how a student was living where they described and attending NCCU all the way across town.
Yep. I heard that, too. The essence of what he was saying is no better than that of the black racists in Durham who voted Nifong in so he'd hang these boys even though it's obvious they're innocent. "It happened to blacks so now it needs to happen to whites" is what is in their hearts, and that includes Ted's, I am sorry to say.
That's quite an error to make. The NBP were booking airline tickets. ;)

EXCERPT
http://wral.com/news/local/story/1126338/
The woman was identified as Denita Monique Smith, a graduate mass communications student from Charlotte.
N.C. Central Police Chief Willie Williams said Smith lives on the second floor of the apartment complex and was found on the first floor. He said it was too early to determine a cause of death or whether it was a homicide, suicide or an accidental death.
"I'm very, very concerned any time I have a death within my jurisdiction," Williams said at a press conference.
N.C. Central plans to increase security over the next few days to help calm any fears in the community, he said. Patrols will expand from 12 hours a day to round the clock, he said.
The apartment complex, located on East Cornwallis Road, is privately owned but leased by the university, Williams said. Numerous students live there, he said.
The university planned to make counselors available to help students and staff cope with the death, he said.
Police said that there were reports of gunshots earlier in the morning but have not said whether they might have been related to the death.

Normal occurance I guess.
Quite certain this is her. What a shame.

Bwaa-ha-ha-ha-ha!!
Yep - must be.
If we assume that this was not accidental and was caused by the gunfire, will someone tell me what is the biggest problem facing the black community in Durham? Hint: It's not Duke students.
