I'm getting really nervous, just like I always do before a big game.

I got a brainstorm on my way home from work tonight, to play a lottery "pick 4" as my hopes for the score of the game. Had it all figured out Buckyeyes 33 Florida 10, so I played 3310 for a dollar.

Got home and called my daughter, and being the Math teacher she is, she reminded me that we would have to have a safety to come up with those numbers. I meant to play 3110. Oh well....I'm blonde....DUH!!!!!!

I invented some cheers too, but the cheerleaders were so jealous, they wouldn't use any of my cheers. I came up with "Die, you gravy sucking pigs!!" And "Try to score a touchdown you sc--bags!!"

As a cheerleader in the 70s, "2 bits" was the best. We always pulled that one a during close game. I remember being out on the floor, and watching the crowd cheer.

You must be reading different media reports. Every one I have read has urged the Buckeyes not to get haughty, because Florida has a way of winning the game. I also think it will be a closely fought contest.

My prediction : OSU 36, Florida, 22. This will be Troy Smith's going out in full glory before not only graduation but to the NFL, which will more be asking for him. A great way to crown the sucessful OSU is by winning this game.

Hey, you took the initial shot, don't complain if I respond. My original post explained that I thought Michigan would probably still finish in the Top Ten, despite getting run off the field in the Rose Bowl, so yes, I guess Ohio State did beat a Top Ten team. But the argument at the time had to do with criticism of Boise State's schedule and the specific criticism cited by the other poster was that Boise hadn't beaten any Top Ten teams.
