Special Teams: Ohio State vs. Florida: This part of the match up favors Ohio State by a rather large margin, especially in the kicking game. Ohio State has one of the most dangerous return games in the nation, with Ted Ginn returning both punts and kicks. Florida’s FG kicking has been atrocious all year long. If this can even out, the game will be much closer. If one side or the other can turn this part of the game into an advantage, then so much the better for their team. Advantage: Ohio State

I believe the Florida Field goal kicker is something like 4 of 13 attempts for the year.

We are going to be badly outnumbered. OSU knew they were in the game and got all the primo local hotels before the Gators knew they were in the game. We just don't travel well when going out that far west. It was the same in 1995.

Northern teams like Ohio State and Nebraska travel much better in winter, because they are looking for any excuse to get out of the state.

True, but where are those teams now?

Texas, since that game lost to Kansas State and Texas A&M, who were both slaughtered in their bowl games.

And we all know what happened to Michigan in their last game.

On the other hand, should Florida win, they would have victories over two teams that ended up in the BCS Top Five (OSU and LSU).
