My Mother invented that cheer as a cheerleader at Washington and Lee High many many deacdes ago (she was born in 1917).

I invented some cheers too, but the cheerleaders were so jealous, they wouldn't use any of my cheers. I came up with "Die, you gravy sucking pigs!!" And "Try to score a touchdown you sc--bags!!"

Nothing like a little Steve Martin to relieve the tension.
