Sorry for the vanity, but does anybody know how to check the status of the Lyco Web Server? I think it's been down...

I can confirm that Lycos (my e-mail) is un-available, and has been for the past 6 hours for sure.

I maintain a website on the Tripod server. Somebody told me the site was 'down' this morning. I couldn't reach it either, so I attempted to connect to the main tripod page... nothing. 404 error.

Looks like both use name servers at hotwired.com which are timing out. When I tried to ping hotwired.com I got a 'unable to determine IP address for hotwired.com. Looks like all the ns servers at hotwired are down. Could be a cut fiber cable...

Bump for confirmation of Lycos probem. Their e-mail has been behaving oddly for the entire holiday weekend (for example, I was unable to delete). The problem today is, to me, a good sign; maybe they are working on repairs. Figured they wouldn't repair over the New Year's weekend.
