To: Lunatic Fringe

IMO opinion the best bowl game I ever saw was the 2002 title game between Miami and Ohio. People have a short memory of "best game ever".

My excuse if I'm too young to have watched decades of college games which is why 2003 is as far back as I remember.

Wasn't that the game that the refs gave to Ohio State in overtime? (The refs were a Big 10 crew too). Couldn't have the Canes win back to back titles.

Oh ye of short mammary.

Best bowl game in history: Miami/Nebraska, the Orange Bowl, 1983-the "Miracle In Miami". Ohio State beating Miami in Tempe was to be expected. Miami beating Nebraska anywhere in 1983 was simply unheard of....

Only if you're an Ohio fan and don't mind the refs winning the game for you.
