Oh, give me a break. They are gonna put this guy away for life, and he has never hurt anyone?
Ridiculous. Buy him his own mannequin and save everyone some money.

Let them crack his skull, lift the hood, and replace the timing belt, few cracked hoses and a filter.

[The potential life sentence is because prosecutors charged him as a habitual offender.]
You could charge half of congress with that.

Why can't he just buy a couple of dummies?

Oh, give me a break. They are gonna put this guy away for life, and he has never hurt anyone? Ah yes, the bleeding-heart wing of FR has arrived.
The scumbag deserves to rot in prison. Had he gotten away with this he would have likely broke into some woman's home and tried to do the real thing.

Hey, well who wouldn't.

The potential life sentence is because prosecutors charged him as a habitual offender. Authorities say he has at least six convictions for breaking and entering and a stint in state prison over the last 13 years. At some point, enough is enough. Lock his ass up.

I am most certainly not a bleeding heart. We in this country are bleeding money at every turn, and a big chunk of it goes to putting people in prison who pose no physical threat to others.
Put him on work release, put him on house arrest, whatever. But our prisons are packed to the brim, and I for one do not want to be taxed even more to build new ones.
Not to mention the fact that our courts are overloaded, our cops are overworked, and it is all due to over criminalization of our citizens.
Child rapists get less time than this, and then get out for good behavior because of over crowding so they can fit guys like this one in.
Violent offenders belong in jail or in the electric chair. Nonviolent need to pay their own way, not leech off of others, which is what happens when they go to jail.
Unless you are under the impression that "the gubmint" pays for it all, and I do not think that you are.

How much money & time did these businesses lose by repairing their windows and replacing their mannequins?
The guy is a career criminal. He belongs in prison. Had he gotten away with this, he would have moved up to someone's home.
To: Extremely Extreme Extremist
Don't be so rough on the guy. Its just an alternate lifestyle. (Sarcasm)

A man who has a history of smashing windows to indulge his fetish for female mannequins could draw a long prison term for his latest arrest. Didn't they have a movie in the 80's that was based on a mannequine fetish?
