Where would scientology fit in? Make sense here, Null.
That's as close to making sense as I get...
Just download Microsoft Photo Story 3 for Windows XP - it is free:

Trying to figure you out really does a number on my brain sometimes, Null. ;)
HOLLY: I've just finished reading everything. I've now read everything that's been written by anyone ever.
LISTER: Would you go away?
HOLLY: You know what the worst book ever written by anyone ever was?
LISTER: I don't care!
HOLLY: "Football, It's a Funny Old Game" by Kevin Keegan.
LISTER: Holly, would you let me watch the film?
The film reappears on the screen. HOLLY reappears on the screen, interrupting the movie.
HOLLY: I'm at a loose end now. I don't know what to do with meself.
LISTER: Holly, why don't you just read everything all over again.
HOLLY: I was thinking it might help pass the time if I created a perfectly functioning replica of a woman, capable of independent decision-making and abstract thought and absolutely undetectable from the real thing.
LISTER: (Sitting up eagerly) Well why don't you, then?
HOLLY: Because I don't know how. I wouldn't even know how to make the nose. Heh.
LISTER: Holly, is there something that you want?
HOLLY: Well, only if you're not busy. Would you mind erasing some of my memory banks?
LISTER: What for?
HOLLY: Well, if you erase all the Agatha Christie novels from my memory bank, I can read 'em again tonight.
LISTER: How do I do it?
HOLLY: Just type, "HolMem. Password override. The novels Christie, Agatha." Then press erase.
LISTER jabs two-fingered on a keyboard.
LISTER: I've done it.
HOLLY: Done what?
LISTER: Erased Agatha Christie.
HOLLY: Who's she, then?
LISTER: Holly, you just asked me to erase all Agatha Christie novels from your memory.
HOLLY: Why should I do that? I've never heard of her.
LISTER: You've never heard of her because I've just erased her from your smegging memory.
HOLLY: What'd you do that for?
LISTER: You asked me to!
HOLLY: When?
LISTER: Just now!
HOLLY: I don't remember this.
LISTER: Oh, I'm going to bed. This is gonna go on all night.
I got it to work.
First I bought a new computer, with a dual core Xeon processor 2.5 GHZ, added a gig of ram, got 2 160 GB drives, an NVIDIA 7600 graphics card, and some extras. Then I got a manager from McAfee software to make a house visit and bring the box over and install it, and when he was done I had an IT professional from another company come and put all the other software I wanted on it. I pointed her to your exact link and I told her, "Make it Play". She downloaded Firefox, bookmarked Freerepublic, got whatever else the thing called for, and then when it crashed we restarted everything. Then I double clicked on the link and we still needed a sound system. When we got that and got it hooked up, there it was -- a cloudy day for the start of the race. Airplanes flying over and laying smoke, a little European aircraft carrier, tall ships, and everybody here was so impressed watching it.
You know what they say about the last straw...
If I were you and that were my plants I'd whine too. I love my plants. My great big Dracina spikes that look so tropical in the summer and get so darn big, I bring into the garage and winter them over. They survive just fine with two cups of warm water once a week. A citrus plant I would weep over.
Well, on a brighter note; those conditions are infrequent and shortlived around here, unlike up where tundra boy lives. Sure does serve to make one appreciate sunshine and springtime though.
Nah; got it loose yesterday. Now, if I could just get those kids to quit baiting it with chocolate.
Nah; too stringy. I am still contemplating squirrel slippers though.
:)
On top of it, we have one 7' grapefruit, one 15' lemon, and one 15' orange tree. Fresh citrus all winter. *ok, trying not think about it, trying not to think about it, maybe they'll be ok*
Ahhhhh, springtime.....I'm starting to count the days.
Tundra boy, lol! I think we found him a new nickname. ;)
Haaaaaaa - what cute little frozen men!
Gawd, that makes it well worth a major whine!! LOL But what can ya do huh?
I'm crossing my fingers for you, BQ. Those trees would be pretty hard to replace, wouldn't they?
Hope your trees make it too!!
Well, plant shopping can be therapeutic.
Speaking of retail therapy, I made a couple of short stops on the way home from Fayetteville this evening. Went to Sephora's for conditioner and a hairbrush. I also got some coconut body wash to go with my coconut scrub and body butter. (I thought those purchases were very conservative. It's not like I couldn't have found other stuff that I "needed.") Then I stopped at Starbucks...I couldn't help myself. I think the evil place has placed a magnetic homing device on my vehicle. Went to Bath and Body Works to pick up some more soaps for by the kitchen and bathroom sinks. Then bought a black velvet jacket on sale...that I got them to further reduce because the belt was missing and it was the last one in the store. Finally, I ran into Hobby Lobby to pick up a sketch journal/notebook, and also got a magazine. And I did that all in an hour and a half. At the end of the day these days, I am quite interested in hurrying home, so I don't waste a lot of time fooling around out there. All in all, I thought it went pretty well. The only impulse buy was the magazine. Everything else I either needed or was looking for.
I couldn't listen to those two pictorials with music at the office so I just listened to them now - FANTABULOUS CARDHU!!
