Hehe, you got that straight, Darks. You learn a lot faster than most here, my friend!
BTW, how are the gnome movies coming? Having fun? I'll bet your basement looks like a bomb went off in there. Ewwww!

derlakk=doorlock=doorknob.

Transmogrification at its finest.............

The mascot? It's your beloved State's favorite drizzle loving, wood eating, stick building critter.

Most impressive, Walleye. Now let's see you chew gum and swim at the same time.

I think that's the major talent of the mascots.........

I'm not certain what brownies would do, but I wouldn't doubt it, the fiendish little blighters.

Hello everyone. Hope all is well. Made it home just in time for Spring, I hope. LOL. The weather yesterday was dreadful but sadly, Alabama caught the worst of it. So very sad.

I am well, happy and home for a few days. Will be gone again Monday. Best wishes and regards to everyone. Happy Spring, Summer and Fall to you all. :)

I JUST got home. That was one of the hardest situations I ever had to deal with. I had to go pick this boy up at school and explain to him what had happened. He was completely blindsided. It would've been a lot easier if he'd been a delinquent, or somehow involved in or aware of Dad's "activities," but he had absolutely no clue. This is a clean cut country boy. He's never been in trouble, has perfect attendance at school, decent grades, never been held back, has a girlfriend, is not on drugs...in other words, a pretty average kid. We don't often see those. The only reason his dad had custody was because he'd been in the same school district his whole life and wanted to stay there after his parents were divorced and his mom allowed him to.

I've been with this kid since shortly after I posted at lunchtime until just a little while ago. I had to take him to his house to get some of his clothes and wait while LE completed their search. There's also 5 cats, a dog, a horse and about 100 head of cattle that there is no one to look after, and to make matters worse, there've been so many kids come into foster care here lately that the only place that the placement unit could find for him was a facility that is mostly juvenile delinquents...with all the restrictions that go with dealing with them. So now, on top of having to deal with doutless one of the worst days of his life, it's like HE's being punished as if he had done something wrong. I have never felt so bad leaving a kid somewhere since I've been doing this job.He looked so lost and scared, but he seemed to be handling it in a mature manner. Now, I am on a mission to get him out of that place. I'm guessing that the judge will probably turn him over to Mom. I hope that is what he will do. There doesn't appear to be any good reason not to.
