A permanent "ignore" button... Is that what I've been calling a "blacklist blocker" for the last couple of years? It's on my "pretty-please" list right after a "search by author" function.

I've been lobbying for an "Ignore" feature for several years- our sister site, Free Dominion, instituted it for paying members only, over a year ago, and it made all the difference in the world.

Not only did flame wars quiet down, and civility increase, I find myself going there first, instead of last, now.

If you frequent blog comments and use firefox, this extension helps a lot:

Neither one, although my husband uses Firefox. The system on FR is so superior that most blog comment software seems 80's to me. Townhall.com's? Jeez!

I agree that "Enemies List" would probably help here, too. I might not pay for it, because I self-censor pretty well, but I'd pay for some other people who are more excitable!
