From personal experience, I think the city's ban on trans-fats is the problem here. I got attacked by a pit bull once, ambushed from behind.

Well, the poor thing tried to bite my butt, but with the large radius of curvature of my gluteal region, those jaws weren't able to open enough (it certainly wasn't my thin wallet that saved me!)--multiple bite attempts on my butt and all I got was slobbered.

I have no doubt that if those jaws HAD been able to lock on, though, they wouldn't have let go. What a vicious creature. So they should keep people obese enough to avoid injury. :-)

I got slobbered by a St Bernard once on the pants leg of my jeans. Never got the stains out. I don't hate dogs, I just like it when they aren't taking a dump in my yard. I also like it when they aren't barking all night long because they're adopted parents have taken them inside for the night.
