The election of a Democratic majority in the U.S. Congress and the inauguration of Felipe Calderon as president of Mexico offer the two countries an opportunity to reinvigorate a deteriorating relationship and, at the same time, build confidence in the idea of a true North American community. To do so, the new leaders must change the agenda from illegal immigration to North American development and resolve to narrow the income gap between Mexico and its two northern neighbors

Yep. What's new?
Proof please!!!!!!!!!!!!You are the one confused.Hahahahaha. Surely, if you are not toooooooo confused, you can link your bogus claim that I claimed NAFTA was passed by a lame duck , Republican congress.
Thanks for the apology and the admission of your confusion.
No problem. Your confusion was over NAFTA causing Tom Delay to be replaced by a Democrat. You were also confused about that Democrat voting against NAFTA and CAFTA.
Go here for your definition of "customs union". The EU is already into this.
http://www.answers.com/topic/customs-union
Pastor has proposed the "customs union" be part of NAFTA and he is holding yearly siminars at colleges to further his agenda.
I predict a big shift in the "your government can do no wrong" thinking here on FR. Can't imagine why.
Not my confusion. Changing the subject again?
Delay is no longer in Congress because of NAFTA? Is that your final answer? Did Lampson win Delay's old seat because Lampsom voted against NAFTA and CAFTA?
Changing the subject again?
You mean like trying to connect free traders to Pastor?
Your words. I wonder who has written the most about free trade. Toddster or Pastor?
siminars=seminars
Pastor writes about the "NAU". None of the free traders I know want that. Perhaps you know some on FR who do? Perhaps you'd share?
No comment on Lampson or Delay? LOL!
Unity? Or unification?
Now go take your confusion meds. Lampson and DeLay are not even related to this article.
Just related to your general confusion.
. . . [Pastor] is pushing for tariffs by having siminars and such events year to indoctrimate the sheeple. Note, I will be watching to see if you become a shill for tariffs. [?]Please post your answer here, instead of simply linking to whatever you feel is relevant. My snipe-hunting license has expired.
Pastor sees the US as a huge cash cow to be sponged for every penny he can get for Mexico. Can't say that I blame him since this country with its free trade/open border policies doesn't seem to be doing much to discourage it.
