Remote detection satellites are used by the intelligence branch of the military to conduct mind control exercises in the theater of war. All this technology is dependent upon the higher branches of particle physics and quantum mechanics. The array of satellites safe in deep space cover the entire earth making the mind control intelligence program widely successful. Be amazed as you view this military program break out of the box. Go to the following web site that shows a real-time mind control zombie being manipulated by satellite and the military. www.MindControlUSA.com

Can't beat those hot dry days though. Never seen anything like it until my visit last July. Love that hot dry air.

There are usually sorties every day that is good flying weather, and during the winter, of course, the Thunderbirds practice. Sometimes, I'm lucky enough to see them. It's all awesome!

"32"
Yessim! That's a good age! Yup. Just about the best. The teens and early 20s are behind one, and the effects of age haven't even begun to whisper...
32. My beard was still completely red then...

All my siblings are myopic. I don't know why. I'm glad contact lenses were invented!
My son was far-sighted and was in glasses from the time he was two until he got out of the army. My daughter in myopic, but chose to have eye surgery.

PS: I am sending this to you in a larger font size, because something has caused my computer's regular fonts to be smaller than they once were. (Why bifocals? Font inflation. Today's 14 point is the same as 2 point was in 1957.)
iirc YOU MADE FUN OF MY SHORT COLLAR AS WELL.
To: Irish_Thatcherite
Oh, we most always have very high humidity here. East coast, but not near the ocean.
To: Professional Engineer
I NEVER make fun of people or the clothes they wear, or the food they eat. However, I may have commented on the shirt collar in relation to your skin color, but in no way did I mean to insult you.
*ouch*
(my nose feels funny...maybe bigger?)

Back when I worked at NASA, I took part of one Friday afternoon off to go watch the Blue Angels practice at Moffett Field (Mountain View CA) for the weekend's airshow. Sat right alongside the runway, couldn't have had a better seat.
Very thrilling, but I guess I didn't have enough of the necessary Right Stuff to become a fighter pilot (or any other kind). Then again, I became an engineer -- not much public glory, but I bet if you threw anything as simple as a Karnaugh Map at those folks they'd stall out in a flash. *\;-)

Poor Wednesday is home (speaking of the Addams family :-). She's not very happy, but I hope tomorrow, when the sedative from her bath has worn off, that she'll be happy to see us.
Until she finds her weight-reduction cat food!

When we lived in Fremont, we would go to Alameda or Moffat Field to the commissary. One Saturday, the doors to the hangar at Moffat were open and they had hot air balloons in there.
We took the kids in, and my son was so awestruck he had tears in his eyes. He was just a little over 10, and to see the hangar as a closed building is one thing. But to go inside and see hot air balloons actually rising and falling INSIDE A BUILDING was more than he could comprehend.
I can still see it!
