I wasn't sure I agreed with Trump giving Miss USA a "second chance", since she clearly violated the rules of her contract, but he owns "Miss Universe", so if he wants to keep someone on, that's his choice.
HOWEVER, he has now set a precedent, and it will become much harder to enforce the rules. Subsequent rule-breakers will point to his treatment of Tara Conner (sp?), and my guess is that the lawsuits will be forthcoming if his treatment of others is different. I will be interested to see what happens with Miss Nevada's case, now that she has been "fired".
Yeah, I don't agree with him giving her a "2nd chance" NOW that I've seen how she acted when she got it.
Before that, I thought, "well, I've sure needed a 2nd chance myself lately, so I pretty much ought to agree with the decision, spiritually" - then I saw what a fake-out queen she is and wanted to barf.
I just so don't care about any of this, but it's popcorn-worthy, I suppose! Merry Christmas to us all!
