A sad story.
This cute little girl will be euthanasized in 5 days- on Christmas Eve- unless someone adopts her.
Aw, thanks for posting their pic. They're beautiful.
Thanks for pinging HOTD, I'm so glad someone took the puppy!
Could that be a sweeter face?
And I live in Irving. We couldn't, we have 100 pounds of demanding Lab we can barely keep up with, but I might have thought of someone.
Glad she was adoped. I didn't know the Irving Humane Society put the doggies down, but they are desperate for money and bigger facilities. My daughter used to volunteer there.
Fwded this thread to NC
That's good. It's hearbreaking to see pictures of the dogs that are euthanasized all the time. They did a front page story in our newspaper a couple of months ago.
What was horrible was that they had a picture of one dog actually being given the injection and it was licking the face of the Vet!!
There were lots of complaints to the newspaper about that.
Yup -
My nieces's daughter in NC will show it to my liberal NYC sister and everyone there
I think you're required by NC statute to have at least one dog there
They may be reading this post right now!
Our ranch is full ;----)
Good grief. How could anybody resist those eyes?
Have yours run into ear problems from the long floppy ears? I've heard it can be trouble with them and beagles but have never owned either breed.
So glad she found a home, I have a Lab from Mississippi (hurricane Rita) and a Golden from North Dakota. Both wonderful dogs but why do they have to follow me around everywhere? ;-D
You got that last part right. Last week the wife left out a half a pound of butter on the counter to soften. (She was going to make cookies the next morning) The next day I get accused of putting the butter back in the fridge. They must have eaten the wrappers as well.
I would trust FRiends with my phone number though. Obviously the problem would be those pesky trolls lurking from DU. lol.
