Not too shabby a game, eh??
If Oklahoma finds a way to win it's game impressively, they could get close to the Big 10/SEC, but the Pac 10 minus USC and the ACC are both pretty weak.
I dont know about Herb, he came off as anti-Husker during the number playoff show, and he seems to sometimes let emotions get in the way.
....actually IMHO, Herbie is a great analyst but sometimes he bends over backwards NOT to be demonstrative for the Big 10 where he is from....in fact, I've heard him sing the praises of the SEC more......in fact, alot early in the season......
Who do you think will win the USC-Mich. game? I think Mich. will win this year.
What did he say?
That Beau Bridges gets too conservative in big games?
Or that the defense until this year wasn't the same as it has been?
I don't see how that is anti-Husker....
He has too....
...hey Mike.....I have to say that though Cal can be a bit immature.....they actually have great talent and a good coach.....just not used to playing in the limelight...if you take away that Ariz game.....their losses were to USC and UT....not bad teams....and they did destroy the Aggies in the Holiday like nobody's business......
True, but that doesn't balance out the blowouts earlier on to the Mountain West and WAC teams....
AS a Pac 10 fan I can say I think Michigan is the better team because USC's offense is inconsistent at best.... however....I never underestimate Pete Carrol....I'll be rooting for USC by default but all my relatives are in Mich and Ohio....so I can't lose.....LOL
Can't say that I disagree entirely.
.....right you are.....but I'm hoping our top 3 teams win as opposed to out middle teams losing....actually I was only surprised at the UCLA game.....thought they would win...never thought Oregon or Ariz St could be BYU or Hawaii at home.....BYU could compete in most conferences I believe......
:)
The problem is that some of these games don't exactly pit teams on the same level with each other.
It worked out a bit better this year between the SEC and the Big Ten due to both leagues getting 2 BCS bids, but normally it would be a bit whopper-jawed...
yeah....
USC needs to stop playing zone against Michigan on passing downs.

THis isnt a complete video, it misses the times he was corrected by Corso, Switzer and Holtz.
