Great game. Incredible comeback. I'd hate to be a Golden Gopher fan. But we've gotten so used to blowing leads, we now have the capacity to look at our opponents' celebrations with something approaching equanimity.
You couldn't recommend a defensive coordinator for us, could you?

Thought since y'all aren't on the Llano, you might want to see an image of this morning's sports section:

RHEMA: blowing leads is something that is all too common for the Red Raiders....the Texas Longhorns basically came back in the 2nd half to beat us earlier this season much like the Red Raiders did with Minnesota last night.

Did you see one of our players had "88" scrawled on his bicep last night?

Should we both be looking for defensive coordinators? I wonder how much it'd take to lure Bo Pelini away from LSU.

Should we both be looking for defensive coordinators? Oh, don't get me started. Our DC, Lyle Setencich has admitted that he doesn't make adjustments at halftime, and he doesn't like "gimmicks". He uses 3 or 4 formations only, and he is around 75 years old. Leach keeps him on because he gave Leach his first job way back when. There is always always always a "fire Lyle" thread going at the Red Raider Football Fans thread.

Well, you may have witnessed a historic first: someone adjusted something, according to our guys: "They did some different things defensively in the second half that hurt us, moving some people on the line, stuff like that," Minnesota tight end Jack Simmons said. Starting in place of injured All-American Matt Spaeth, Simmons caught seven passes for a game-high 134 yards and a touchdown.

Hey Mike, you guessed the Tech score exactly, off a bit on Minnesota though.

Hey Mike, you guessed the Tech score exactly, off a bit on Minnesota though. I confess to not being sanguine about the Gophers' chances, either. I predicted to one of my co-workers that the Raiders would amass about 700 passing yards and beat us 53-21.

I guess he should have tattooed "2+2=4" instead...
But congrats on a great win last night!

That really was an amazing game. With a house full of Tech fans over to see the game, it was really wonderful to witness the gloom at halftime grow to a snowball's chance to actually pulling the game out.
Even that field goal to send it into overtime seemed unlikely, but that kid put it past the uprights into the stands.
Unbelievable.
I'm glad I got to see it.

Yeah, I guess that proves Tech doesn't just pass someone for the football team, because Jarrett was one of our stars.....

Okay, I've got a question for y'all.
Do you root for your conference opponents when they're in a bowl game for "conference bragging rights", or are you like me?
I want them all to lose (but my own team to win, of course) to aid in recruiting new stars.
I'm not an Aggie (although my son is), but how could any good Aggie actually be hoping Texas wins tonight?
