And Gone With The Wind is one of the ten best ever, if not one of the top five. Consider the innovative filmmaking it took, especially for its time, to film the burning of Atlanta, and the wide shot of all the wounded and dead soldiers when Scarlett tries to get the doctor to go with her. To say nothing of translating an epic book that everyone had read, a wildly popular book, to the screen, accurately and brilliantly.
