I remember reading about various teams who, after a series of forgettable seasons, managed to screw up the #1 draft pick by an inopportune win near the ends of their seasons. The phrase from the fans was, "they can't even lose right!"

I say, a win is a win. And generally, picking #2 winds up better, as it clarifies the thinking. :') Also...

10. Bill Parcells... contemptuous attitude can make it easy to cheer against him... It's just fun to watch the guy with all the answers -- for his players, for his coaches, for the media -- flunk the test every now and then. Parcells is so condescending and so contemptuous of others when they make mistakes, that it's a sincere joy to watch the Tuna flounder in the pressure cooker of late-game decision-making. Having Bledsoe firing away in the closing seconds against the Seahawks was pure Marty Mornhinweg.
And while we're on the subject, congratulations Marty Mornhinweg! Glad we could be there for ya. ;'D
