I'm only going to say this one more time: do not ping me again and do not talk about me again.

I guess I am asking for a flame, but the NC Highway Patrol is pretty protective of their own so it is not surprising that their spokesman would say that the investigating officer followed procedures..
I said earlier that I think the family should lighten up. Maybe that was a poor choice of words. Maybe they should change their focus and go at it not from the standpoint of what happened to their Mom and Dad, but what can be done to be more efficient next time.
There are a lot of good people in the patrol, I am sure, but I am also aware of some really lowdown rotten mean ones.
If I recall correctly, there have been two patrol commanders, that is the very top officer, forced to resign in disgrace. The most notable being the one who had a warehouse in Fayetteville that was handling hot merchandise. He had junior patrol officers working in the warehouse unloading hot stuff.
I don't insinuate that they are all bad guys, rather I suspect that there is some way to keep whistle blowers quiet.
None of that has anything to do with this case other than it will take outside criticism to make changes.
To get a satisfactory examination of the facts in this case, someone whether it is FR or WRAL will have to make a lot of noise.
Flame away. Then we can talk about the Rodney King in reverse that happened within 5 miles of where I am sitting, etc.
