Found in a NC swamp. No foul play...believe to be an auto accident. Prayers for their family. They looked like a loving, happy couple.
Also accounts for the left front fender damage.
Sorry, couldn't resist...
So WRAL is the only source of correct information? Are you from North Korea?
Interesting how you now know that is wasn't a collision that is what a single car accident. They have not determined that yet. The reason I stated collision is because of the original 911 information - read what you typed and you will clearly see the word collision.
Are you related to Bray?
Yeah, I do; I actually listen to what they say.
And the ONLY channel showing it on cable was/is Fox. I heard the WRAL reporter who was standing right there, not miles away in SC or NYC.
So who are YOUR feeds that are giving out that disinformation that there were several calls?
I thought it was illegal to leave the scene of an accident? Guess not everywhere.
Ah, the reporter was TALKING to Greta.
I'm glad you did.... it went totally over me when I wrote it.
I don't have cable. I haven't had cable in years.
Wrong again.
I just looked on Google maps and I don't see any swamps around those exits, unless it's just a swampy creek, you know, between mile marker 139 and 140?
I don't know what station the reporter was from. I was watching a couple of feeds out of NC.
*shrug* I'm still in Caleeeeeeeefornya.
I just told you the WRAL reporter was standing beside THEIR car and she had talked to the wrecker crew and the Highway Patrol -- or didn't you hear that either?
Again, who are YOUR "feeds?"
Haven't a clue. I'm 3,000 miles away...
I believe the location is ENE from Raliegh just south of Rocky Mount. If you look at the route you will see a "river" or creek that travels under the highway.
I don't know about illegal....but I'd not be able to rest til I knew what happened!
Our county has several calls a month about 1 car accidents on I-20 close to where I am. Unless it's a rollover or in the median, stuck, 9 times out of 10, it's a reported Unable To Locate. People drive off the road, no damage, and continue on their way. Also, if the 911 caller doesn't know the mile marker....it can be tricky.
Sounds like somebody bumped the car off the road.
Then how did you hear the WRAL reporter?
The 2003 white Mazda car was found about a half-mile north of U.S. Highway 64 along Interstate 95 in Rocky Mount. According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, Nash County communications had received a 911 call about an accident in the area about 7:29 a.m. Thursday morning. Emergency responders reported not being able to find any vehicle involved in an accident.
