Unfortunately, you are right in many cases. There are many people conned by such frauds, but I do believe there are people that have a special gift of intuitivity, or whatever you would call it. My mother & I have experienced it ourselves, I have just stayed away from it myself - not something I want to do. But I have had things come to me in dreams and sudden thoughts that have turned out to be true, things I would have no other way of knowing.
Some psychics have helped police departments solve crimes that otherwise would have gone unsolved. Do not discount it so quickly.
I can assure you that I have not discounted this subject quickly. I have studied this for years as a have many others and when psychic successes are dissected there are logical resons for what was found.
