What the Foley incident has taught us: First, no law was broken and under age pages were not subjected to Foley's buggering.
Second, all deviates in congress must be ferreted out to preclude their hitting on our children. And not blowing the whistle on this threat could be used against a politician in a future election -- a threat right up their with bribery (although William Jefferson's (D-LA) case is an exception).
The threat of a stealth gay congressman is so great that it can contribute to a lost election.
While Foley has not been accused of having sex with under age boys, evidently, since he indulges in the taboo of homosexuality, he therefore is assumed to be predisposed to the taboo of pedophilia.
Barney Frank (D-MA) is an avowed homosexual and while he has not been stupid enough to send emails to pages he has been known to talk to them, and as poor naive children they could be influenced by his alternate lifestyle.
But evidently a Democrat queer is not a threat -- to our children.
Children 16 and 17 years old can't handle homosexual advances. Homosexuality is learned deviation not how one is born. Else wise a heterosexual page would just blow it off as one of those things a guy learns growing up.
Silence from the gay community on Foley bashing was deafening -- party trumps principles.
But in fairness, it must be said that all our children, boys and girls in Washington, are vunerable to the preditor - whether the preditor is hetrosexsuala or homosexsual, congressman or president.
But still, I haven't heard of a hetro man preying on an under age boy.
Well, it sure didn't teach us to spell!
Moderator, please correct my headline to

LOL! What about "incident" and "taught"?
Speeeel Cheq?
how about "What the Foley Incident Has Taught Us.
As a parent, I would think these considerations should be one great factor in sending my child off to D.C. What nut would stick your boy or girl into a situation like this?

"And not blowing the whistle on this threat could be used against a politician in a future election ..." How naive of you. The democrat knew of this 'incident' way back in 2005 and the media has given them complete cover from responsibility. Perhaps what American should have learned from this 'incident' is that the media is totally biased, whores for democrap empowering, and care not a whit for conservative values whether reinforced by pubbies or not.
Ouch! That's gonna leave a mark!
What the Foley scandal has taught us is that Rep voters(not necessarily rep pols) have standards and dem voters do not.
The MSM will go after reps but will protect dems. Think of Jack? Ryanin Ill.
Just like Caesars wife the party of standards must have pols above reproach.
PP: What the Foley incident has taught us:
BE: Well, it sure didn't teach us to spell!
SP: Yoo ahr tew mutch! LOL
We need a complete list of MSM victories in driving powerful Republicans from office. i.e. Trent Lott, Newt Gingrich, Tom Delay, Dick Armey....etc., by negative drumbeats on TV and in the press.
And how the Media protected reprehensible Democrats i.e. Clinton(s), Barney Frank, Jerry Studds, Sandy Berger, Janet Reno/Waco..etc.,
