Two ways for Bush to deal with the UN....
1) Appoint a tough, conservative ambassador and attempt to reform the UN.
2) Apppoint an appeasing, sniviling, liberal as ambassador and ignore the UN and its US ambassador.
George Mitchell fits the bill for option 2.

My two leading suggestions for Bush's consideration as UN ambassador are: ....
1) Hillary Rodham Clinton
2) Barack Hussien O'bama

GWB kept Mitchel from winning the post of commisioner of baseball because of the treatment on "no new taxes" by Mitchel to 41 - does anyone think that this President is going to forget? If it happens then we know all is lost.

triumphal Democrats began floating the names of potential replacements. Among those deemed "acceptable" as U.N. emissaries were former Rep. Jim Leach of Iowa and former Democrat Sen. George Mitchell both ardent supporters of the international body's globalist agenda. Guess maybe the rabid Bush Haters should check their sources a little closer rather then immediately launching into freak out mode the second they hear some rumor.

If George Mitchell is selected, the Bush Administration will contine its move to the left and become an even lamer, lame-duck Administration--if that's even possible at this point.
I guess he could still raise the cap on SS taxable earnings just for good measure, too.

Could it be that a deal has been worked out between the White House and the Dims to throw the Dims a few bones (Rummy and John Bolton) in exchange for less oversight, investigations, etc.?
I put nothing past anyone.

Gosh I don't know much about this guy. Never heard a peep from him. I guess I will wait until this become fact before I care one way or the other. The UN is so low on my priority list that I probably won't care anyway. I thought the U.S. was going towards getting out of that place so why do FREEPERS care. I care about the date we will cut and run from the UN.

I don't think it really matters one iota who's at the UN because they're beyond repair and it will be the same Russia, China obstruction with anything concerning Iran or NK. The UN is just a stage for dictators to come on our soil and call our President every name in the book and then get a standing ovation.

And just the other day, I was thinking how nice it was that we didn't see the media running to George Mitchell for his opinion on every last thing in America any more.
Please, no George Mitchell.

Two facts that the MSM will never mention about Mitchell:
(1) He is of Arabic (Lebonese) descent and grew up in that ethnic culture - even though Clinton faked him to be "Irish" so he could send him to mediate in Northern Ireland.
(2) He is the natural father of at least one illegitimate child.
Also, he was a Carter-appointed judge. Somehow he quit a lifetime appointment to the bench to run for public office.(Would anyone here like to have Mitchell presiding over his or her case?)
