The Time/CNN website seems the source of the George Mitchell rumor, while National Review seems to be
suggesting that Lincoln Chaffey is on deck. Both are likely BS........

Yeah, but, to now nominate someone who isn't ideal just to get them confirmed (and to placate the Dems) is a huge compromise in position and values. Bush is wrong if Mitchell truly is the pick.
