Putting the python's head under water would have done the job just as well. This snake's handler had no business owning one if he couldn't get out this situation on his own. Burmese pythons are really not good pets...grow too fast and then they become a threat to all. Already in Florida there are way too many of these released into the environment.

I hope there are no small children in that house. I got rid of my snake when he bit me on the face and he was just a lil ol corn snake. Hurt like hell though.
