They're going to be red and green. I'm practicing on some plain sugar cookies right now...

I was just now msixing up the frosting with the red food coloring and thought "Wow...that red food coloring looks like blood...I should pour some on my arm and start screaming!"

I thought it would be a funny joke to pull on the jedis...but thought better of it. The food coloring's too expensive.

Got my candy made and mailed! This afternoon I made goo-gobs of lollipops. There were 10 tall, skinny chocolate St. Nicks, 4 large vanilla snowmem, 13 that look like ornaments, half were vanilla, and half were chocolate, and 27 snowflakes, some chocolate, but mostly vanilla. I also made a batch of peppermint bark, with the bottom layer vanilla with mint flavoring, and the top layer dark chocolate with white peppermint flakes in it. Then I crushed some peppermint sticks and sprinkled them on top. I kept half of that for us. ;o)

The lollipops are for the kids' stockings for my family's Christmas party, which will be this Saturday. Didn't make it this year, but I sure hope we'll be there for good by NEXT Christmas!
