Jr. is having ~another~ round with the norovirus. I will spare you details, but last night was ugly.
I tell ya, it's been a long time since I've been completely stuned...but it happened yesterday.
I was walking through the CompUSA in Tulsa, looking for a DVR with a harddrive, when I walked past a TV screen. It was hugh, but that's no big deal...big screen TVs have been around for forever.
It was the actual picture. Cars was playing on it and it looked so realistic and absolutely crystal clear that I had never seen anything like it. I literally stopped in my tracks and stared at it like those kids in Grapes of Wrath staring at the candy in the truck stop! I really could hardly believe my eyes it was so clear!
They had a strategically placed recliner, so the jedis piled up in it and kicked back and started watching it while I went ahead and looked for my DVDR. When I found out they didn't have one, I came back and stood for a long time just marveling at the quality of that TV!
My fascination drew a crowd, eventually there was half a dozen folks standing around gaping at the TV with my kids kicked back in front of it...a salesman came over and gave the whole pitch. I didn't pay a bit of attention, so I don't even know what kind of TV it was...after all, it was $3K.
Not gonna happen, you know...
My TV is 15 years old...got it the day before Steve and I got married.
Newrug, newsunningplace, life is good for misskitty!!
And how good does it feel to go in and out your new front door?
