Heh...I do know what you mean.

When I first started using these dusters, though...they would get so filthy that within minutes I was just moving the dust around. I wasn't too impressed but I really was expecting a bit much from them. That's when I decided to launder the pads...figured nothing ventured nothing gained you know...

So, I'd dust dust dust, toss it in the wash, I didn't worry about actually getting it completely dusted. I bought some more pads (I think I have six total now) and I just rotate through them. Now, I've noticed that the pads last longer between having to wash them and my house appears less dusty!! (And it's a real problem, especially in the winter. I think the gas heat must have something to do with it.)

I've taken to dusting the TV in the morning when I'm setting up the VCR for school. Just real quick...15 seconds or so...I spray the pad with the spray and then whisk over the front, top and sides of the TV real quick. That's the area that gets dusty the most and I've kept up with it now for weeks and it's been EASY!

I keep the duster right there...so it's convenient.

I'll tell ya what NOT to get...a suction canister vacuum cleaner. What a PTA. Our old red Dirt Devil which did so good for 12 years died a couple of weeks ago and I got an EnVision. It's AWFUL. It gets clogged up with dust and once it does, it looses suction. Then you have to clean the canister, a filter basket, a foam rubber filter and a paper filter. Dust gets all over EVERYTHING, puffs up in the air, gets up my nose, all over my hands, on my clothes. I take it outside to clean it so maybe the wind will blow it off if I'm lucky.

It does a good job if you keep up with this but it's messy. I'll endure it for now, but will get another one some day...
