Yeah - we've had a little taste of what it's like, only I ~think~ in hurricanes the wind is more sustained and ours is variable with gusts. There was at least some relief between the high gusts. Our winds were only half what a hurricane can be, and I can't imagine our trees could take much more than what we got. There would be no 150 foot Douglas Fir trees if real hurricanes ever hit here.

Well, now you know just how much the trees can take, so it won't be so scary when you know the winds are going to be 30-40 mph.
