The Hobbit Hole XXXII - Sweet is the sound of falling rain
The Freeper Hobbit Hole Blog ^ | December 1, 2006

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Good! Hopefully we'll be getting it on DVR and can watch it tomorrow... but a new episode of South Park is on at the same time, so SP wins. Not exactly sure if we can DVR two things at the same time.

Really. I'll be interested to see, it appears it's either loved or hated... From the previews I thought I'd probably like this episode, it's about Dharma stuff right?

Maybe it's by comparison - good back story - we're stickin' with it.

It was just really nice to see Sayid and Hurley and John Locke again. They've been gone almost all season. LSA

I got it from the actual Salton store...really not that expensive!

I set it to making yogurt about 6 hours ago and it has already set up...I'm going to let it continue culturing over night because I like a nice tart yogurt...but it's done already.

I didn't use any dried milk...not my style.

I'm impressed. It's an excellent appliance!

My kefir grains have also performed beautifully. I can already begin to see the tracings on the glass (you know how buttermilk does) so it's a success as well. Should be perfect in the morning.

Been a good day.

I'll say. I'll have to start another batch of yogurt tonite because Big'ol cleaned out the last of the first batch. This way I won't lose what's left of the good milk while I'm away on travel next week.

For some reason, it's morning again. I don't like that.

Doesn't it? I had a bad case yesterday afternoon of feeling like it was Thursday already.
