Yeah, that's another risk.
My only jury time was that arson case. It was really interesting, and perhaps a lot easier because nobody was hurt. No emotional outrage. It was just a case where the lady torched her house for the insurance money.
The fire investigator was really interesting to listen to. He did a great job of explaining what they look for and how they investigate fires.
I remember one kinda funny thing he said was that he first suspected arson when he saw the refrigerator. It was covered with dozens of magnets but all the kids' artwork was gone. Clue, that. :-) And all the clothes were missing in the bedrooms. Plus, she later confessed, so it was pretty much a slam-dunk. But it was interesting.
She was not a very good arsonist. :-)

I'll say!!
Thank-you. Thank-you very much. I watched it one time yesterday and that was enough to sear it into my brain..
They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard..They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard..They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard..They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard..They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard..They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard..They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard..They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard..They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard..They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard..They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard..They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard..Ahgh!!!
See, they'd get me because all the books would be removed from the house beforehand.
"No, I grabbed them during the fire... yeah, all thousand-plus volumns... and the bookshelves..."
The hobbits, the hobbits, the hobbits, the hobbits! To Isengard! To Isengard!
"And the pets were at the vet.... the furniture was being restored... the big screen tv was being, um, degauzed. Yeah."
But somehow the mother-in-law...
I got my yogurt maker! It's as cute as it can be! I thought it was going to be big, like a breadmaker, but it's small...not much bigger than a 39oz coffee can!
I'm glad. Steve gives me grief when I have too much stuff cluttering up the counters. This is small and won't take up much space.
Nah, we both have nice mothers-in-law.
Itsa good name!
Paint some blue accent panels on it, like the movie R2D2.
I think it's dead...
My sister once wanted one, and I don't think she got it.
It DOES look like R2D2!
LOST is back!! What a great episode! LSA
Really? You thought so?
I'm thinking: Lost. Jump. Shark.
But maybe that's just me.
