The Hobbit Hole XXXII - Sweet is the sound of falling rain
The Freeper Hobbit Hole Blog ^ | December 1, 2006

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

I dunno. I'm kinda wishing I had something to whisper...I feel all left out and stuff...

...I'm all whined out for the week, I think.

Yup, these are some great commercials.

My vote is still for Pepsi & Cindy Crawford.

There definitely have been some good ones; but overall I think the Clydesdales are the most enjoyable, year after year.

I don't know, the Clydesdales are cute and all, but I just LOVE the VW 'unpimp the auto' commercials!

SirKit's sister has done the training, classes, and testing to be a Certified Emergency Consultant for her bank. She's the one who will have the responsibility to make sure the bank is up and running after a terrorist attack or a weather catastrophe. She got some great hands on experience when Katrina hit! She had to make sure that the bank's ATM's had generators in most areas so folks could get cash for their immediate needs.

Right now she's in a very small group, and when the takes the 'Master' test, she says there will only be a couple of hundred along with her. Now THERE'S some bargaining power!

She's been the computer guru at her bank for the last 20 years, moving up the ranks along the way. I think in another couple of years she'll be ready to go out on her own.

Oh, and she detests SOX with a passion to equal yours, Ramius!
