Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Ugh. This one-episode-at-a-time stuff is fer da birds.
Been watching last weeks episode on the DVR to freshen up.
All we are saying...

Agreed! Things are always just startin' to happen when - doh!
Our pastor was asking the education minister about us and the children's minister said..."Oh, they'll be fine, he can kill animals whith his bare hands" :-)
This house was the house to be in without power because we could heat one room and cook. I have to say though, when we got the generator, the house seemed so much happier. It was nice to be upstairs during the day and in a sunny room.
The Civic Center was a shelter location for those who couldn't stay in their homes. I am so glad we weren't forced to go there...though I think I would find somewhere else to go instead. The flu and the stomach flu was going around at the Civic Center, and they had the "crazyies" there. One 60 year old man insisted on sleeping naked, and got up to go to the bathroom...he was removed, but ewwwww. I'm sure there are still people there now. At least they are getting free meals, but it would so not be worth it. I am very thankful that God has given us the resources and friends to tough it out here.

Yea, we can record it here. Will it be on Sunday and Monday again?

Good morning...
Quiet morning here!
I'm happy, I have actual concrete work goals today. I've gone from 280 "things the code analyzer doesn't like" to 232 in just under two hours. That's progress. :-)
Ugh. Somehow, our super smart alarm decided it was Saturday and so it shouldn't go off. No, seriously, it has this weekend setting that we never use because we've lost the manual, and it got switched on, and we woke up almost an hour and a half late. Still got in to work by 8 though.
Good morning. Came in early to reboot servers. Now killing time. I read a bunch of the 24 live thread. Some pretty funny stuff.
I'm still not sure I buy the newest twists.
....So Jack's brother is a dorky evil mastermind, and Jack's Dad is a possible terrorist organizer. And then...there's Kim. I guess when a family produces a Jack Bauer, karma has to balance him out somehow...
The family reunions must be interesting ;~)
No wonder they don't have 'em often.
Specially considering Jack can turn *anything* into a weapon if he gets ticked off. Or just bite.
Adds another level of tension to family banter.
Yay...another thread to avoid.
