um...just how old do you think I am? That show went off the air in 1960.
Izzit Friday yet?
Really? I was only 7 in 1960, so it must have aired at some point later than that. I don't know if I'd remember it that clearly from that early an age, but I guess I could.
Just looked it up on IMDB. It mentioned Paul Frees as the actor playing John Beresford Tipton, who I think we only heard as 'The Voice' of the Millionaire. He was the narrator of the movie "Wild In the Streets", in 1968, the original "Don't trust anyone over 30", movie. He was also the voice of the troll, Bombur, in the animated "The Hobbit" , and a Goblin AND Elrond in "The Return of the King"!
He must have been a popular voice actor, because he also did a bunch of voices for those animated Christmas specials like the Rudolph shows, Frosty the Snowman, Nestor, the Long Eared Donkey, etc.
Gotta be... yawn... made it to the gym this morning. Had twice as much caffeine, so far, as I usually do. But I got Panera for breakfast. Mmm. Bread and butter.
And I get to put lots of little red comments in a technical document. Something useful! I hope this is a sign that I am ramping up to where I'll be able to jump into projects.
I have to go to work early, so I've been up for an hour already. Going to leave in about ten minutes. Least I had time to make coffee and an omelet.
Do you get to go home early, at least?
Oohh, I can go back to the lab and use this as an excuse to get someone to show me the hardware systems.
Should get to go home early...we'll see. Doesn't always work out.
Just thinkin'...if this thread title had come up about three weeks earlier, I mighta hurt someone.
Heh. Timing is everything.
LOL :~)
I know
Good morning everyone!
The barista at Starbucks this mornin' was wearin' a kilt...
Mmmm...coffee *and* kilt...
Ooh...I like!
You wondered if she was wearing skivvies under it... didn'tcha? :~)
um...no...it weren't a "she"...
But that doesn't really change the question ;~)
And, FWIW, I didn't wonder as much as I thought, "man it's too cold out for that..."
"espresso puller" and "kilt" should never be used in the same sentence...especially when it requires the pulling of a big handle...
espresso spam
