Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Woulda been nice to have time to get in shape before seeing the family again. Oh well. I've been worse.
Heh, yeah, Talon and I were both up ten before the Christmas visits. Oh well, the next time we see family they'll be impressed!
I am seriously back on a diet this time not just a vague health swing. I lost 40 pounds the year before Entmoot, I can do it again.
Joshua has gone nuts over this Cars movie! Specifically, Route 66. It's hysterical! I've taken him to see the stretch that runs through Tulsa. He had me check out a stack of books and videos from the library and I found a preservation society and now he wants to join!

He's so funny! I don't know where he gets his enthusiasm.
Yeah, Luke keeps wondering where the real "Radiator Springs" is.
Wife and I loved it because we thought all the Nascar references were hysterical.
Heh heh...I figure there's a lot I'm not getting because I don't know anything about Nascar.
But I got Joshua the soundtrack for Christmas and have found it's great "housecleaning" music.
One of these days we need to rent that to see the last 5 minutes. We watched in PA during the engagement and the theater had a fire alarm go off FIVE MINUTES from the end. The show was more or less wrapped up at that point but it was still annoying.
So don't tell us about the big twist ending where everyone dies.
The last five minutes are pretty predictable. But you need to rent it to watch the credits.
It's 5:00 somewhere...
Oh wait. That's here.
Which means I ain't gonna get a call back on the project I was working on.
Dang time zones...
I loved it. I thought the end was the best part!
That's just where he gets his kicks...
Ungh...
I know. I'm sorry. But it had to be done.
It's the pressure... I'm cracking...
Had to think for a moment, but I got it!
I'm just glad this week is over.
Every have one of those weeks when nothing you do goes right?
I needed a brain reboot, I guess, but I never had time to stop that long.
*snork*
Cisco just went to lie on his back on the couch, but slipped off and fell on his...errr...posterior.
He's not exactly elegant.
By the way...if'n you go to check mail tonight, be sure to bring waders.
ecurbh went earlier... not sure why, it's just bills mostly :~)
I'm sendin' all my bills to the President. I don't care if he opens 'em. As long as he pays 'em.
;-)
The ditch there was filled to overflowing when I went. Had to jump and hope I made it, especially considering I was wearing shoes without much gripping power.
I got movies out of the deal, though. Score!
