The Hobbit Hole XXXII - Sweet is the sound of falling rain
The Freeper Hobbit Hole Blog ^ | December 1, 2006

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Looks like we'd better refill water bottles and set out flashlights before tomorrow.

Can we just stop with the wind for a bit?

The break has something to do with a cat running from thedog and thedog plowing into his feet and legs. G'nad was caught totally off guard. I was at my parents house and couldn't even be here for him. Surgery is scheduled for 3pm today...so it will probably go down around 4pm. He has a spiral fracture of the index finger and the finger is starting to rotate out.

Thegirl and boy are staying with a friend who will take them to swimming/wrestling tonight because it'll be after 6:30 before we get back. Thenewboy is comming with us. I've got movies to keep him happy.

Thanks for the prayers...much appreciated!

Mrsnad

G'Nad broke that same finger? Oh, no!

Praying for no pain, 'cause constant pain requires so much attention you can't live the rest of your life properly.

Mrsnad, you can still contribute at http://www.rbent.com/HHFuneralDonation.htm ... it will be around for a while longer.

If you'd rather not use PayPal, let me know, and I'll send you a FReepmail.

Okay ... called the florist and dictated the wording of the card. I also emailed it to the florist.

Visitation starts at 2pm today, and the florist assured me that the plant would be at the funeral home for the visitation.

I'll get a sympathy card in the mail along with a check to Mrs. N.

Okay, since it's almost time for Jack, and since wife and I have been watching Season 2, I have a question (and a couple of observations).

1) Am I the only one who didn't know that in RL, "George Mason" is married to "Nina Myers?"

2) In the third season...who was the agend that Jack had to "off" in front of the terrorists/bad guys?...

3) Doesn't it all make sense now that Zephram Cochran (James Cromwell) is Jack's dad?

1) No, I didn't know that either... 2) I don't remember... 3) who?
