Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Yep! Definitely.
Well, that's certainly my guide for wedding attire...
hmmmm, pies...
Did ya get to chance to go after 'Wiley Coyote'?
Wintergunshow in two weeks.
Ack, poor Homer. Hope the chicken and rice plus the wonders of modern pharmocology get him back to normal soon.
Ol Gifford, the lab, was on a strict mutton and rice diet for a good number of years for his skin disorders. Really worked for him.
One of the cats had to have an allergy shot. We recently put out a horse blanket (that was left here by the former owners) for them to sleep in and I wonder if that was the culprit. I've heard that lamb and rice formula food is really good for animals and can sometimes help allergies from being so bad...I imagine chicken and rice would be about the same.
Mrsnad
It really depends on what they're allergic to. If the chicken and rice doesn't work they we try lamb, if that doesn't work they have a whole line of odd food for him to try, one was duck and potato. sheesh. He wasn't bad before the switch, so hopefully once he heals he'll stay good, unless he's just developed a weird new sensitivity to something. We're sure tired of it already!
One coconut cream pie for a dead guy...
went out at 1400 on Wednesday... despite muh best efforts, I didn't see or hear a durned thing...
is this wintergunshow of which you speak in Tulsa?...
needtuh unload a few things... and get mrsnad a CCW piece, mall frame revolver, .38/.357... sell muh 10-22 and get the 917...
I like shorts and Hawaiian shirts, but then, I'm quirky :~)
G'nad, it's the MVACA Winter Show, up by KCI. reckon about 600 tables, across the board good stuff from flintlocks to tricked out black rifles to english doubles. You're welcome here if you want to drive up.
Good place to deal imho, leastways it has been for me. Dropped by the Shurfs office yesterday and picked up two permits. :-)
"Tis better to have and not need, than to need and not have".
Gentlemen, it the FWIW category; The DCM Website makes note that a good number of M-1 Carbines will be made available this spring. Plenty of time to get your paperwork in order. No mention was made of pricing and they are not accepting orders at this time.
When Gifford had his alergies it was kinda the dark ages of foodferdogs. We had to get the mutton/rice from the vets by the case. Not that it mattered, he needed it but there wasn't much else available then.
Good Luck on finding the right combination for Homer. Our furry companions can be persnicketity.
Well, I'd certainly consider that on the way ~to~ the weddin'...if yuh get muh drift...
Thanks for the update, but I'm satisfied with the IBM carbine I already have. Still in its 1943 as-built configuration, without all the engineering changes and upgrades applied to most of the carbine inventory.
Oh I get your drift allright!
Good evening!
Some guy at the VW club got free tickets to a hockey game. So Steve took the jedis.
~sip~
No...no pie. I made his pie when we got him.
I liked the way we handled Uday and Qusay, and old Al Zark. Saddam was allowed too much attention-seeking behavior...the MSM fed right in to it.
I wish we'd just blown him to Jesus when "we got him" and been done with it.
Evening!
So.....does Saddam rate a pumpkin pie/
Heh heh! I like it.
Wow! The kids were little there! Shoulda offed him a long time ago.
