Well, it's almost 8 out there. I'd imagine Rosie should be getting to work soon. If they also lost power last night, she will probably be too busy to post for a while.
I'm watching (well, listening to)the KOMO news. They've got over a million people without power, trees down, powerlines down. It pretty much looks like a hurricane scenario.
Earlier this morning the local Seattle news have been telling people to stay home unless it's absolutely necessary. There are trees and powerlines down on the roads. 'Course that was several hours ago.
Oh my...
Now my disquiet has turned into major concern!!
Becky said she tried to call and got their answering machine...Didn't hair say they were going to leave if things got intense?
Wow, that sounds really serious. I sure hope all the trees that were liable to fall, fell the other day.
Hmmm....well the answering machine was working.
I thought they were going to spend the night in the truck out in the middle of the pasture and away from the trees. Has anybody tried the cell phone?
I don't think we have cause to worry. After a storm like that, there's a lot to be done to get communication back. They were prepared for the storm and ready to get out of the way if necessary.
And remember, it's just after 9 a.m. there.
I don't know if the phone # I have for Hair is a cell or a land line.

But, I can get my freepmail. I just can't call from Fangorn.
She was negotiating an intersection with no stoplights, but she was able to tell me that EVERYBODY'S OKAY!
Rosie says she lost some panels from the side of her trailer, and that Hair and Ecurbh spent the night in the truck in the store's parking lot. No trees down, but lots of branches fell.
She'll call me back when she gets off the road.
