I declare Brazil a Civil War being there is 150 killed everyday in that country by criminal elements and it's all in an attempt gain power.
Conservatives don't have to.
Party-line Republicans do.
Why is NBC not declaring Afghanistan a "Civil War"? The Sunnis already know they are not going to get back control and they don't want to split from the hand that feeds them, they just want more money because they know money is all they will have.
So, even though the Sunnis have "lost" the war, they're still fighting, but just for the money? But wait a minute. What war? I didn't think there was a war.
As if moooslems just started killing each other when we arrived in Iraq....
Mafia? Since when did the mafia conduct religious warfare? And which one of these insurgency militias is the mafia:
Mujahideen Shura Council
Mahdi Army (Jaish-i-Mahdi)
Badr Organization
Fedayeen Saddam
Al-Qaeda in Iraq (Tantheem Al-Qaeda fi BiladirRafidain)
Jaish Ansar al-Sunna
Mohammad's Army (Jaish Mohammed)
Islamic Army in Iraq (Al-Jaish Al-Islami fil-Iraq)
Iraqi National Islamic Resistance (Moqawama al-Islamiya al-Wataniya, "1920 Revolution Brigades")
Islamic Resistance Movement (Harakat Al-Moqawama Al-Islamiya)
Islamic Front for the Iraqi Resistance (al-Jabha al-Islamiya lil-Moqawama al-Iraqiya - JAMI)
Jaish al-Mujahideen
Jaish al-Rashideen
Asaeb Ahl el-Iraq (Factions of the People of Iraq)
Black Banner Organization (ar-Rayat as-Sawda)
The Return (al-Awda)
Nasserites
Wakefulness and Holy War
Mujahideen Battalions of the Salafi Group of Iraq
Liberating Iraq's Army
Abu Theeb's group
Jaish Abi Baker's group
Islamic Salafist Boy Scout Battalions (Kataab Ashbal Al Islam Al Salafi)
for this to be a civil war there would definitely be more than even 150 killed a day.
According to who? And what number of casualties constitutes an official "civil war."
Is Brazil in a civil war?

They're all mafia except their crime boss is under the title of Imam or Cleric. I guess you missed the newest leaked information from the Slimes about the Insurgent or Terrorist groups financial situations and how they get their money?
Help me, Jesus! Help me, Buddha! Help me, Tom Cruise!
Great. So it's not a "civil war." It just looks, quacks, and waddles like a civil war. And when Iraq officially splits into Sunni, Shiite, and Kurd territories (effectively what has happened already), what kind of spin will we put on that?
In fact, Iraq is not a civil war, because those who are fighting are NOT trying to take over the government. It's really just gang violence, rival groups trying to get revenge for what some other group did or is thought to have done to them first.
Then there is the terrorists trying to throw the country into anarchy, but that is no more a civil war than 9/11 was a civil war in this country, it's just a TERRORIST ACTION.
I'm not sure you understand the makeup of Baghdad? It's 3 neighborhoods causing the problems which make up a total of maybe 20,000 "insurgents" or whatever they're called today out of 6 million people, less than 1%. Out of the rest of Iraq the total insurgency, terrorist, foreign fighters, etc, is even less than the percentage in Baghdad. It's not spin to point out that this is no where near a civil war in any previous definitions of known real civil wars. If Iraq was in a civil war they wouldn't be using car bombs in ethnically mixed areas, they would be burning down mosque on an hourly basis and probably killing 500 a day in known enemy quarters. Even the UN just put out a statement that disputed NBC and it claimed that Iraq is CLOSE to a civil war but not there yet. I don't even believe it's close.
